Doug Jeffery obtained a BSc majoring in Botany and Zoology at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and went on to obtain a MSc in Botany also at UCT. Doug has worked extensively in the Western, Southern and Eastern Cape both as a professional botanist and co-ordinating EIA processes for more than 20 years. Doug has been registered with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions as a Natural Scientist since 1990. Doug is also registered as a professional Environmental Assessment Practitioner with the Interim Certification Board for Environmental Assessment Practitioners of South Africa.

Lindsay Speirs obtained a BA degree majoring in Archaeology, Psychology, Geography and Environmental Studies, an Honours degree in GIS and a Masters degree in Geography & Environmental Sciences, all from the University of Stellenbosch. Lindsay has extensive experience as an environmental assessment practitioner, and has worked on a great variety of projects throughout the Western Cape as well as the Northern Cape and the Free State. Lindsay has been with the company since 2003.

Adél Groenewald obtained a BSc degree in Geography at the University of the Free State. Adél has gained experience as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner working on various projects in the Free State, Northern Cape, Gauteng, Limpopo and Western Cape Provinces. Adél is a certified SAGIC Invasive Species Consultant and has been with the company since 2016.

Tyron Momberg holds a BSc in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology from the University of the Western Cape.  Tyron has several years’ experience in his field and has worked on major Eskom sites such as Mookodi Substation, 400KV transmission lines and Kusile Power station. Some of the courses he has completed include Environmental Law, Implementing ISO 14001 EMS and is a trained snake handler. Tyron has been with the company since January 2016.

Marais Geldenhuys obtained a BA degree majoring in Geography and Development Studies, an Honours degree in Geography and Environmental Management and a Master’s degree in Environmental Management, all from the University of Johannesburg. He has also completed a Masters certificate in Social Impact Assessment and Public Participation through the Sociology Department of the University of Johannesburg. He has 4 years working experience as an environmental assessment practitioner, and has worked on projects throughout Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal, North-West and the Western Cape.

Johnny Volmink is a retired school principal with 33 years of teaching experience. Currently Johnny operates as an office assistant and driver.  He is responsible for coordinating the compilation and delivery of reports, as well as for the driving of personnel.
